The third day of competitions at the 2014 Pan Jiu-Jitsu championship had as a high point the adult female open class division.
The highest glory of this Friday of Jiu-Jitsu in Irvine went to 50/50 Academy’s Maia Matalon.
The heavyweight reined in the female purple belt open class.
She had four fights to get to the gold medal.
The final was against Nova União’s Sarah Black and Maia got the win by coming back in the scoreboard to win 3-2.
Maia won double gold this Friday after also conquering her weight division.
