The 2016 Pan Jiu-Jitsu championship is not all about the adult black belt division.
There’s a lot of talent in the black belt master division also.
That’s where you are going to find the warriors over 30 years old that have written (and still write) some of the most beautiful pages in Jiu-Jitsu history.
We took a look into the competitors lista and here are the biggest names we found.
In the master 1 division, Milton Bastos, Pablo Silva and Daniel Beleza will clash in the lightfeather. The featherweight division will see thrilling matches involving Fabio Passos, Ed Ramos, among others.
In the middleweight division, you’ll find Marcus Antelante, Rafael Barbosa and Carlos Guimarães. The medium-heavy division features the likes of Leo Iturralde, Eduardo Santoro and Oliver Geddes.
The heavyweight division will have the talents of Diego Gamonal, Raul Castillo, while the superheavy has Gustavo Pires and Xande Ribeiro.
In the master 2 division, you can see names such as Julio Echeverria, Jared Weiner, Cicero Costa, Adriano Ferreira, Regis Lebre, Alberto Crane, Raphael Ai-Rihan, Jorge Britto, Eduardo Telles, Walter Cascão, Flavio Almeida, Rodrigo Comprido and Bruno Bastos, among others.
In the master 3, 4, 5 and 6 divisions, there are also great names, like Danny Alvarez, Alfredo Barum, Sandro Santiago, Piet Wilhelm, Rafael Correa, Saulo Ribeiro, Paul Halme, Roberto Godoi, Renato Tavares, Rodrigo Medeiros, Roberto Traven, Carlos Terrinha, Amal Easton, Ricardo Miller, Wellington Dias, among others.
