This Saturday, Fabio Gurgel inaugurated the new Alliance branch in São Paulo.
Besides the spacious dojo the gym now has two rooms for private lessons on the second floor and another especially for functional gymnastics, where coach Edson Ramalho heads the show.
But what catches the eye right off the bat are the photos lining the dojo’s walls, celebrating the glorious moments from the team’s past.
“They are pictures of Alliance’s black belt world champion. Man, when I’m in the middle of a roll and I see my photo, I remember all we went through to conquer that. I gives off really good energy and I feel it was a really great idea of Fabio’s,” Michael Langhi tells GRACIEMAG.com.
“And Fabio left some blank space on the wall. He said it’s for the new champions, he provoked the gang! We have great facilities and are raring for 2011,” he adds.
