The most alluring grappling competition there is, the ADCC, has the date and place for its next installment. According to sponsoring company @MasaruFightCo’s announcement over twitter, ADCC 2011 will be held September 24 and 25 in Nottingham, England, the setting for Robin Hood’s classic adventures. A bull’s eye on the part of the organization.
The last installment of the tournament famous for gathering athletes from the different combat styles was the first time ever in Europe, when ADCC 2009 shook up Barcelona, Spain’s magical Catalunian city. ADCC 2009, the eighth event, crowned Jiu-Jitsu teacher Bráulio “Carcará” Estima the grand champion of the absolute division. Now the champion of MMA event Strikeforce, Ronaldo Jacaré won his superfight against Robert Drysdale.
The ADCC has touched down in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, where it was created, São Paulo, Long Beach, and New Jersey.
