The IBJJF calls on one and all for the first big tournament of the competition calendar in the USA, and plenty of people have already answered that call. Among those signed up, stalwart competitors like Laércio Fernandes, Jason Ebarb, Marcio Laselva and other black belts have entered the running to be hailed as the best Jiu-Jitsu stylist in the American southeast.
The final deadline to sign up for the Houston International Open is this Wednesday.
The tournament in Texas will take place February 12 and 13, at Saint Thomas University.
