The IBJJF has released the official schedule for the 2016 World Jiu-Jitsu championship.
The most important event of the year takes place June 2-5, once again at the Walter Pyramid, in Long Beach, California.
Day 1, Thursday, will see mostly white belts and blue belts on the mats, with two purple belt divisions.
Day 2, Friday, will feature blue, purple and brown belts. This is also the day black belts have to register for the open class divisions (male and female).
Day 3, Saturday, will be dedicated to juvenile white and blue belts and adult brown belts and black belts. The male and female open class black belts are set to kick off around 11:30 AM.
Day 4, Sunday, is all about the black belt, starting with the weigh classes quarterfinals all the way to the finals.
