Many consider Marcelo Garcia to be a grappling superhero. Some call him 
Marcelix, in a reference to the undefeatable French warrior Asterix (left), a genious creation by Albert Uderzo and Rene Goscinny .
Three times world champion and three times ADCC champion, Marcelinho sure gets close to it.
And, if you look at this drawing his student John Small did of him, maybe a comic book is not so far away.
