An ADCC champion with nine MMA wins, Vinny Magalhães triumphed again this Friday. The black belt defended his M-1 Global belt against Mikhail Zayts and didn’t have an easy time of it.
In Phoenix, Arizona, Vinny fell behind early on and had a rough time in the first two rounds. In the third he started using his foot attacks but it was standing where he had the best time. Landing a high kick, Vinny finished the job with strikes, beating the Russian by technical knockout.
