Leandro Lo, a black belt who made major waves on the competition scene this year, will return to action at Copa Kamikazi, a tournament coming up this December 11 in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo state, where his girlfriend, Luiza Monteiro will also take to the mats.
This eighth installment of Copa Kamikaze kicks off at 8 am this Sunday at Palestra Itália club. All the club’s facilities, including the pool and game room, will be open for competitors to use freely, including the fine fare at the eateries.
Over the previous seven events, Copa Kamikaze has paid out a total of 30,000 Brazilian reais (around $18,000) and served as stage for nearly 4,000 athletes. Tickets for Copa Kamikaze cost R$ 5 plus a liter of milk, with will be donated to the NGO Sobriventes do Amanhã.
