One hard nut to crack in Jiu-Jitsu, Ricardo Abreu, better known as “Demente”, came up with a quick win this Friday at BRFC “Desafio dos Imortais” (Portuguese for “Immortal Challenge”) in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo state. The knockout came just 24 seconds into the bout. A straight right to Leo Rocha’s chin secured the Nova União black belt his second MMA win.

Now a spinning kick right out of the movies was the move Cairo “Relâmpago” Rocha used to bring another fight to a halt in the first round, at 2:30 minutes on the clock against Chicão Neves. Chris Wilson, who has fought in the UFC in the past, came up with a first-round finish, shutting Tom Oliveira down with a rear-naked choke at 4:22 minutes, to the crowd’s delight.
