A black belt from the most traditional family in Jiu-Jitsu, Rolles Gracie returns to the cage February 11. According to MMAWeekly.com, the Brazilian will be taking on the oversized Bob Sapp at a One FC event to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The son of the legendary Rolls Gracie has won two fighst in a row since exiting the UFC, where he fought once and Joey Beltran provided him the only blemish on his record. In 2011, the instructor at Renzo Gracie Holmdel, New Jersey, dispatched Braden Bice with an arm-and-neck choke at UCC 4 in April, and in the month of October he used the same move to put away Lee Mein at Canadian promotion Wreck MMA.
As for his opponent, the formerly frightful Bob Sapp, isn’t seeing the best of time, having dropped three in a row, all in the first round.
Another match-up confirmed for the card has Brazilian Gordo Evolve student Rodrigo Ribeiro taking on Rustam Khalibov. Stay tuned to GRACIEMAG.com for more on One FC.
