Murilo Bustamante, leader of the Brazilian Top Team, is training hard for his return to action this July 18 at Impact FC in Australia. But another member of the team is getting ready for his own international bout: Rousimar Toquinho. The Jiu-Jitsu black belt will have his work cut out for him against Nate Marquardt at UFC 118 on August 28.
Toquinho is known as a submission artist, as he finished eight of his 11 fights in that fashion. Marquardt too is no slouch on the ground, with 15 submissions on his tally, but has a heavy hand, with knockouts on seven occasions. The winner of this bout takes a great leap up the list of challengers to Anderson Silva’s middleweight throne.
