Medium heavyweight champion of Brazil in 2009 Raphael Abi-Rihan felt even greater emotion than winning a title, this Friday. At precisely 3:56pm the Carlson Gracie Team black belt’s first daughter, Manuela, was born.
“It’s the happiest day of my life! My princess Manuela weighed in at 3.4 kg and is 49 centimeters long. She’s beautiful like her mom, thank God! And the family is growing,” said a jubilant Abi, who will celebrate his first Brazilian Parents Day as a father tomorrow.
Congratulations to Raphael and his wife, Patricia, and to all parents around Brazil this Sunday.
