The AJP continues to adjust its schedule of competitions for the 2020/2021 season due to the effects of the Covid19 pandemic.
The latest update was announced today changing the host city and the date for the debut event of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour in the USA will be moved from Los Angeles to Miami and the new date is September 26-27, at the Miami Airport Convention Center.
The change of host city was motivated by the fact that the state of Florida is more advanced in the process of reopening the economy after the pandemic.
The AJP made the decision to secure a safer environment for athletes to make plans to compete in the ADGS Tour in the USA.
At this moment Florida health guidelines state that the ADGS Tour in Miami will be held without the presence of the general public. Only athletes, officials and press professionals will be allowed in the venue.
The AJP will be in constant contact with local health authorities and will inform the public if there is any change in the health guidelines.
