With US$ 1,000 on the line in the black belt absolute division, top competitors are rushing to sign up for this weekend’s Arizona State Championship 2010. Of the big names already on the roster for the competition to take place this June 26 and 27 in Mesa, Arizona, World Championship semifinalist Bruno Bastos, Arizona Open champion Guybson Sá and Carlos Farias have already secured their places in the open weight mix. Although he won’t be shooting for the prize money, UFC veteran Hermes França is confirmed in the middleweight division.
