One of the main attractions of the 2011 Pan was the two matches between Rodolfo Vieira and Bernardo Faria, who last year returned home with two golds at black belt.
In the opinion of IBJJF referee Muzio de Angelis, who watched it all up close, the finals the two starred in were in Irvine were great, the two most hard-fought of them.
Rodolfo ended up coming out on top both at weight and open weight. Check out the weight-division final below:
