Confirmed for December 4, Bitetti Combat 8 “100 years of the Corinthians” promises excitement for the crowd to show up at São Paulo’s São Jorge Park, home to the Corinthians soccer club. Amaury Bitetti and his new partner Franco Chacur announce three matchups confirmed for the event, which again will feature big names from world MMA.
Dead set about getting back on his feet and again making it to the top of the MMA scene, Paulo Filho will face Japan’s Yuki Sasaki. Sasaki has forty fights to his name and has fought at UFC, Sengoku, Deep, Shooto, and others in the past.
In another fight starring a combatant from the Land of the Rising Sun, Thiago Jambo faces Eiji Ishikawa, an experienced fighter from the ranks of the Pancrase and Deep promotions.

The third fight confirmed promises excitement. CM System’s Cristiano Marcello will finally have his rematch against Costa Rica”s Alejandro Solano Mandarina, who is riding a seven-fight win streak. The first encounter between the two, at BC 7, saw Mandarina win by knockout, but there were many who felt the bout was stopped prematurely.
“There’s more to come. We’ll announce international fights and, of course, the ones with athletes from São Paulo,” says Bitetti.
