The Bitetti Combat Cup (BC 9) is set to take place June 18 at Rio de Janeiro’s Botafogo club. The main draw of the night is the middleweight GP, where fighters will have to win three fights on a single night to become champion.
It’s no easy task, like in the early days of the UFC. That’s why, besides earning a chance to fight in the big year-end event planned by promoters Amaury Bitetti and Fernando Chacur, the winner gets to take home a belt and a healthy sum of money.
“The GP winner will earn 30,000 reais, while the runner-up takes home 10,000, besides the purse for stepping into the cage,” says Bitetti.
