The adult male open class podium
The first edition of the BJJ Tour Connecticut took place this Sunday, April 27, in Bridgeport.
Hundreds of athletes from all ages gathered in the Wheeler Recreation Center for hours of Jiu-Jitsu.
In the most important division, Soul Fighters’ Rafael “Formiga” Barbosa conquered the male adult open class division.
He closed out the absolute with Fenix BJJ’s Raphael Carneiro and took gold after they did the same in the medium-heavy division, where Carneiro got gold.
In the team’s competition, the results were:
1 – Soul Fighters – 63
2 – Aldo Batistas Club BJJ \Icon JJ Team – 33
3 – Kioto Bjj – 24
4 – Tim Burrill BJJ – 18
5 – Alliance Marcelo Garcia – 12
