Staking their claim to the $3000 cash prize for the black belt absolute division at the 8th Arizona International Open on March 9 and 10 are Bastos brothers, Bruno and Ricardo.
Last weekend in San Antonio, Texas, the brothers were able to close out both the Brown/Black belt over 202 pounds and the heavy absolute divisions at the Abu Dhabi Trials. Not wanting to lose their winning momentum, the two are ready to try for a repeat performance in Phoenix, Ariz. in preparation for the Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship two weeks later in Irvine, Calif.
