A black belt under renowned master Osvaldo Alves and grappling world champion under the FILA association, Brazil’s Gabriel Kitober now lives in Las Vegas, USA, where he helps in the preparations of some UFC fighters.
“I’m here at Throw Down, where I train and help UFC fighters like The Ultimate Fighter winner Amir Sadollah, Matt Ridlle, Matt Brown and Evan Dunham, who recently beat Marcus Aurelio and will now fight Tyson Grifin. He’s undefeated in MMA with 10 wins. I also have some other students who are now starting to take off,” says Gabriel.
The fight between Dunham and Tyson is on the card for UFC 115, to take place June in Canada.
In preparing the fighters, along with other trainers, Gabriel uses a method he calls “Technical and Tactical Refinement for MMA Fighters.”
