The Brazilian capital of Brasília was already going at a quite a clip because of all the goings on in the country’s politics, but this Friday the excitement was off the hook, with the excitement the Shooto Brazil promotion brought to the Ginásio Nilson Nelson venue.
The big name of the night was Francimar “Bodão”, who in the main event took opponent Cristiano “Bob Sapp” down with such force that it opened a cut on Cristiano’s face. The doctor’s decided the Brazilian “Bob Sapp” was unfit to go on, and Bodão was declared under-100 kg champion of Shooto South America.
