Two-time Jiu-Jitsu World champion Flavio Almeida, better known as Cachorrinho, is still mixing it up on the mats. This weekend in Sydney, Australia, the black belt took two medals at the five-star World Pro tryouts.
“The qualifiers couldn’t have gone better. I’m heading home with two gold medals and a trip to Abu Dhabi,” posted Flavio on his Twitter account (@flavioalmeidagb).
With the result, besides the money prizes for his weight group and the open weight group, the fighter will get an all-expenses-paid trip to the main event, to take place April in the United Emirates.
