Current Strikeforce and K-1 World GP champion Alistair Overeem is one of the world’s top fighters these days. The Dutchman’s next challenge is to face off with Fabrício Werdum at the Strikeforce heavyweight GP in June.
Meanwhile, besides his usual fare of grueling training, the Overeem is reaping the rewards of success, in this case meaning a dinner with his country’s royal family.
“A great experience. I had lunch with Prince Willem-Alexander and princess Maxima. It was the most important lunch of my life!” he posted on Twitter.
