Long Island Pride, a Jiu-Jitsu tournament promoted by GMAs Eloy Santos and Milton Almeida, this year was held as a memorial marking the ten-year anniversary of the September 11 attacks, this past Sunday in New York City.
Already a Jiu-Jitsu tradition on East Coast USA, again the championship was a success.
One of the standouts was promising Renzo Gracie Academy representative Gianni Grippo, a brown belt.
Grippo won his weight division after taking the final against Gary Tonon, from also-GMA academy Ricardo Almeida Academy. Watch the video below to see how it went:
