On Mar. 4 the City of Esch-sur-Alzette, the hometown of GMA Cavalcanti Jiu Jitsu Luxembourg, organized the annual “Merit of Sports” Award Ceremony.
Cavalcanti Jiu Jitsu Luxembourg competitors Raphael Geib and Jing Zhu had the “Merit of Sports Award” handed out by the Mayor, in presence of some members of the city council. In the crowded City Theater of Esch-sur-Alzette, the competitors received the award for their great results at the 2013 NAGA Europe Championship.
Jing Zhu earned bronze in both gi and no-gi. Raphael Geib earned silver in gi.
