The UFC press conference to take place this Thursday in Rio de Janeiro is stirring up loads of excitement. This Wednesday stars of the August 27 event Forrest Griffin, Maurício Shogun, Brendan Schaub and Yushin Okami posed for photos around the sightly city. Anderson Silva and Rodrigo Minotauro will join the others for today’s press conference at the Copacabana Palace starting at 3pm.
And what about UFC president Dana White’s whereabouts?
Dana’s in Rio too. He arrived early this morning and even ventured some tweets in Portuguese over Twitter (@danawhite).
“Partindo de Brasília indo pro Rio para a coletiva de imprensa UFC Rio de amanha! Animação total para o UFC Rio!! (“Leaving Brasília heading for Rio for the UFC Rio press conference tomorrow. Totally stoked about UFC Rio!!) Check me out bilingual:)!”
“Acabamos de pousar no Rio!!!! Just landed in Rio!!!! I’m gettin good at this”, said White.
