The Five Grappling Super League will return December 3 with an eight-man welterweight tourney. The Welterweight Pro Invitational, set to take place at Lincoln High School in San Diego, CA, will feature Dillon Danis, Edwin Najmi, Bill Cooper, Michael Liera Jr., Sean Roberts, John Combs, Marcelo Mafra and Brian Morizi. They will fight six-minute matches in the gi with no score count — submission only. In the case of no submission occurring in a match, three judges will determine the winner.
Alongside the tourney, the Super League will also host 20 superfights split between gi and no-gi.
