According to IG.com.br columnist Guilherme Barros, billionaire tycoon Eike Batista has announced the creation of IMX, a new sports and entertainment company arising from a joint venture between EBX and IMG Worldwide.
Among the projects the journalist says the new company will be involved with are the UFC in Brazil and the Volleyball World Championship, as well as talent management.
The Nogueira brothers may be the first fighters to sign with IMX. IMG Worldwide already manages the careers of tennis star Maria Sharapova and supermodel Gisele Bundchen, for example.
