Have you ever imagined learning Jiu-Jitsu from Rilion Gracie, rolling with Roger and traveling with Kyra to some of the most out-of-sight cities in the world?
That’s right, the dream of so many gentle art practitioners can now come true. A project gathering brothers Rolles, Igor and Gregor Gracie and the other three aforementioned is the latest Jiu-Jitsu camp proposal to arise on the scene.
“I’m very proud to launch this project with my family members. In recent years we took Renzo Gracie Association students to Rio de Janeiro for a week rich in training and fun. Now we’re taking the concept up a notch, expanding our Jiu-Jitsu training into a number of places around the planet. We’re going to take you to the hottest destinations on earth with first-rate Jiu-Jitsu training,” wrote Rolles on the project website, GracieAdventure.com.
The first trips are already penned in: Rio from the 1st to the 8th of November 2010, and Costa Rica in March of 2011.
GRACIEMAG.com contacted Rolles to find out more about the project.
“The idea grew out of the camps in Rio where we take our students to train. Why not take them around the world, training and enjoying some of the best of what each country has to offer? Hang gliding and beaches in Rio. Surfing and crocodile safaris and Costa Rica. And so on,” explains Rolles.
“The idea won over the team right away. We’re all excited about the project, where everyone involved,, the teachers, participants and partners, have only to gain,” he says.
