Erberth Santos finished Fernando Reis to win gold under 110kg. Carlos Arthur Jr.
Last weekend, Erberth Santos confirmed his favoritism by reigning supreme in the 110kg division of Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Rio de Janeiro, held at Barra da Tijuca’s Olympic Park.
To get there, he beat three opponents before the final opposite Fernando Reis (Alliance). This was a hard-fought match, but a back assault with a precise attack on the collar brought about the tap-out, following Erberth’s spin with squeeze.
