The GB Compnet Nationals is coming up this next October 20.
The event will be held at the Northwood High School, in Irvine, California.
Gracie Barra Director Marcio Feitosa is thrilled with the growth of the tournament.
He remembers how it all started: “Master Carlos Gracie Jr. started it out in 2008, at the Irvine headquarters. At that time, he told everybody that it would quickly grow out of the academy”.
For this next event, they expect over 600 athletes from all over the United States.
Marcinho talks about the fun it is for everybody: “We have a massive attendance of kids, parents and families. And for some time now, with the prizes we offer, a lot of high rank GB athletes are also taking part on it.”
