The 2011 Brazilian Nationals kicked off this weekend, showcasing future talents of the Brazilian domestic scene, and the first results are already on the air at the IBJJF website.
There was even an Aquila who won at blue belt, which may yield a headline “Aquila’s spell” in the future, but remember that you saw it first here. In the absolute blue belt division, the big name was Alliance athlete Fernando Reis, who won the heavyweight division to boot.
The big teams were GFTeam (mighty mite), Beija Flor (pee wee), Gracie Humaitá (junior) and Osvaldo Alves (teen).
