Gabrielle Garcia currently shares the post of greatest female Jiu-Jitsu fighter with her teammate Luanna Alzuguir. Why’s that? Well, the pair has been winning all the biggest competitions around since last year – namely the Worlds, Pan, Euro Open, and World Pro, among others.
This season in Abu Dhabi Gabi reigned supreme yet again, snapping up the gold and prize money in the over-65-kg division at the World Pro. Check out the video of the final against Penny Thomas below:
And there are new challenges on the horizon. Gabi, along with loyal friend Luanna, will compete at the BJJ Professional Cup in Italy in the lead up to their greater objective, the Worlds.
