Considered the most complete fighter in the UFC, Georges St-Pierre will try one more time to confirm his dominance over the company’s welterweight division.
GSP’s next title defense will be against Johny Hendricks and the date of the battle is scheduled for Nov. 16 in Las Vegas. The information comes from last night’s episode of “UFC Tonight.”
Hendricks (15-1) is the No. 1 contender behind champion GSP. With six consecutive victories, three coming with Knockout of the Night bonuses, and in his last fight, beating Carlos Condit, there is no one at the moment with more merit to challenge for the strap.
On the other hand, we have the champion, St-Pierre (24-2). He is in third in the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings and has accumulated 11 straight wins in the UFC, eight of them to defend his welterweight title. In short, GSP has not lost a fight since 2007.
And do you, the reader, think Hendricks’ powerful left hand will be able to beat GSP?
