The training center is still on 30th street in Manhattan, New York – the upscale area between 7th and 8th Avenues. However, everything has been remodeled, much more structured.
Our GMA Renzo Gracie was all smiles and upbeat showing off what he himself calls his “new academy,” which is yet to be inaugurated. Still, GRACIEMAG.com readers get the inside scoop all the sooner.
“We have a lot more mat space, besides the older part of the academy. We have fencing on the sides and a ring and cage for the gang to practice MMA,” explains Renzo, who now has around two thousand students.
And that’s not all he has brewing. Soon, there will be a new area with a laundry for gis and the training are will grow even more.
