Team Ribeiro Canada with the first place team trophy at the 2013 BC Provincial BJJ Championship
On Saturday, Nov. 16 GMA Kaboom BJJ took part in winning the team trophy for Team Ribeiro Canada at the 2013 CBJJF BC Provincial BJJ Championship n BC, Canada. Alongside three other academies under the Ribeiro banner, Kabir Bath and his students helped to earn the necessary points for claiming the adult first place team position.
Kabir placed second in his gi division and third in his no-gi division.
Students of Kaboom BJJ placed as follows:
June Cruz earned one silver and two bronze medals.
Allan Cabatic earned a silver medal in his first tournament at blue belt.
Trevor Willman earned a silver medal.
Reynaldo Camacho won gold in his weight class.

Aside from the tournament the academy also had a special community wide open mat on Nov. 11 where they raised 200 pounds of food and 200 dollars!
