The IBJJF Pan Nogi took place this Sunday, in New York, and our GMA members once again made their presence felt.
Professors and students of different academies owned the podium in another display of technique and heart.
The team’s competition was won by The Avengers, headed by members Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu and Pablo Popovitch. Team Renzo Gracie came second and Gracie Barra completed the podium at the adults division.
Here are the medalists.
Carlos Alberto Terrinha, from Gracie Barra New England, was the black belt senior 2 open class champion.
João Amaral, from BTT Boston, was the silver medalist at the black belt master division.
Kayron Gracie, from Gracie Barra America, was the adult black belt medium heavy champion and the absolute runner up.
Lucas Lepri (picture above), from Alliance NY, was the adult black belt lightweight champion.
Henrique Rezende, from Marcelo Garcia Academy, was the adult light-featherweight silver medalist.
