Members of GMA Top Brother Mexico took home medals recently in two tournaments. One was in Brazil while the other was in Mexico.
The IBJJF Brasilia Open was an opportunity for both Leonardo da Silva Rodrigues and Cassio Lisboa da Costa Junior to gain a gold medal. Leonardo won the black belt master featherweight division and Cassio won the black belt master male super-heavyweight division.
Closer to home in Mexico, two students and head instructor won gold at the 8 Torneo Nacional de Jiu Jitsu Brasileño on Dec. 8. Angel Gomez led his team with a gold in the brown belt lightweight division. Blue belt Alejandro Perez won his blue belt lightweight division and Edgardo Baldit won his white belt roosterweight division.
