Set for the coming 30th of June in São Paulo, Troféu Brasil ADCC 2012 was so sought after by athletes interested in competing in No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu that the promoters of the event were obliged to close sign-ups prior to the previously set deadline.
Thus, the last call for registering and participating in an official ADCC event is today, Tuesday, at 10 pm. If you’re not signed up yet, better hurry and click here.
The secretary general to the ADCC and the director of the event, Wagner Gomes, commented on the high demand in recent days.
“I believe the inclusion of more weight and age divisions was an innovation that attracted athletes of all ages who have never participated in an ADCC event before. A lot of people realized how important the event is as preparation for the heavily anticipated ADCC 2013 tryouts. We decided to cap the number of sign-ups to not affect the quality of the event, and we’re enthused about it. I take this opportunity to announce that entrance will cost only 10 reais,” said Wagner.
All athletes to register will be given an official event T-shirt, the first issue of official ADCC brand clothing. The roster will be checked on Thursday, June 28, and the timetable will be released on Friday.
