The IBJJF has already confirmed date and setting for the most important event of its calendar.
The 2015 World Jiu-Jitsu Championship will take place once again in the CSU Long Beach Walter Pyramid, in California.
The date chosen is May 27 to May 31.
As it was done in the last two years, the first day can be May 27 or May 28, depending on the number of athletes registered.
Also a reminder that the 2015 Worlds will be the first ever where black belts will have to qualify beforehand to compete.
Here are the guidelines for qualifying for the 2015 Worlds black belt division:
Athletes eligible to participate in the 2015 World will be:
– Black belts with minimum of 50 points in the IBJJF black belt adult ranking
– Former Black Belt adult World champions
– 2014 Brown Belt World Champions (all weight divisions)
