“The summer Jiu-Jitsu by the Sea tournament is held at Claudio Franca’s Santa Cruz dojo on June 18th. This competition is open to kids of all ages and levels, juveniles, and adults to seniors in the white, blue and purple belt ranks. It is also one of the last tournaments that kids can participate for the rest of the year. The other is the fall Jiu-Jitsu by the Sea. And, as always, all kids in the tournament go home with a medal.
“Early registration ends today, Thursday June 9th. After that date, late registration increases to $45 for kids and $60 for adults.
“Also, if you are a brown or black belt and you are interested in competing at this tournament, please respond to this email and we will try to set you up with a superfight. All other competitors must register with the link in this email or at the claudiofrancabjj.com website. All registration is done online.
“Finally, we are looking for any female lightweight blue belts to compete at this Jiu-Jitsu by the Sea. We already have one and we are looking for another.”
