Last Thursday the city of Campina Grande, in the Brazilian state of Paraíba, hosted the third installment of Campina Show Fight, where only three of the nine fights on the card went the distance.
The highlight of the night was Bruno Blindado’s tactical performance against Thiago Boi, using his striking to good effect, knocking his opponent out in the second round.
In the evening’s main event, the veteran Edson Paredão (who’s faced the likes of Forrest Griffin and Junior Cigano in the past) landed an illegal blow on Argentina’s Henry La Maquina and was disqualified. The event was such a hit that the organizer’s have already announced their next one, Verão Paraíba Fight, for January of 2012.
