GMA member Kev Capel, leader of Roger Gracie Buckinghamshire, has launched a new class recently.
He put on a completely free Ladies self protection workshop using the techniques from Jiu-Jitsu that can help a smaller weaker person overcome a Larger agressor. The session was attended by 15 ladies from Aylesbury who all said they had a great time and were interested in doing some more training along the same lines.
The class covered topics such as defending yourself from attacks from behind, attacks from the front and defenses to attacks on the floor.
Due to the success of the class Kev is looking to put more free taster sessions on in the future and if the responses remain positive he will make it a permanent feature on the school’s timetable.
