To escape the all-fours position migrating to the half-guard, Leo Tunico controls (by the sleeve) the hand with which his opponent is trying to choke him. In parallel, he grips his opponent’s pants and thus manages to follow his movement. Watch how he shrimps laterally, reaching a position transversal to his opponent’s body. That’s how he finds sufficient space to underhook and trap his opponent on half-guard.
