While the team leader, Rafael Lovato Jr., was in San Diego, California, giving his all to tap out Kayron Gracie with a Kimura at Metamoris Pro. In Texas, his team was putting in a splendid performance at Grapplers Quest.
With 287 points, Team Lovato BJJ finished first in the overall team competition.
Also a GMA team, BJJ Revolution came second. Paragon and Brazil 021 also topped the standings.
