After a successful debut in the UFC, Mackenzie Dern has a new engagement, and it appears that the organization has big plans for the American.
Back in March 3rd, Mackenzie manifested her desire to fight in Rio de Janeiro, and that is indeed where we will be seeing the strawweight next. She will take on Amanda Cooper at UFC 224 at the Jeunesse Arena, on May 12th, according to a report from MMA Brasil’s Gabriel Carvalho.
Mackenzie is undefeated in MMA with six wins, three of which came by submission. Amanda Cooper (3w, 3l), who came from Invicta FC and has done four fights in the UFC, fought and beat Angela Magana last December.
UFC 224 will be headlined by Amanda Nunes and Raquel Pennington, with fights like Vitor Belfort vs. Lyoto Machida and Ronaldo Jacaré vs. Kelvin Gastelum also confirmed at this point.
