Today the cold weather gave a truce, but Jiu-Jitsu continued warming the Tijuca Tennis Clube, in Rio.
The blue belt and purple belt masters, along with the adult brown belt, were the main show at the International Masters and Rio Open, this Friday.
Old acquaintances and new talents of Jiu-Jitsu confirmed their favoritism and took home the gold in the brown belt.
At featherweight, fast Alexandre Vieira (BTT) strangled four opponents out and got the gold medal. In the final, Alexander beat Rafael Henrique (Gracie Humaita).
On the middleweight, GF Team rose in the highest place of the podium with Julius Couto and Victor Silverio, who closed out.
In the heavyweight division, Kaue Damasceno (Nova União) won the gold medal by beating Marco Aurélio (Game Fight). Fábio Andrade’s student left smiling after doing five fights.
