The Melbourne Open took place this Friday (29) and Saturday (30).
The second edition of the event in Australia had the day 2 dedicated to Gi competition.
In the Gi competition, the highlights were world champion black belt Michelle Nicolini competing in the female division and winning the lightweight division.
In the male division, Daniel Almeida was the adult lightweight and black belt open class champion.
He faced Lucas Santana in both finals.
In the teams competition, the results were:
1 – Cia Paulista – International – 191
2 – Peter de Been JJ – 183
3 – Maromba Academia International – 118
