After GRACIEMAG.com broke the news that two more fights had been added to the UFC 159 card, another major match-up was added to the April 27 event: England’s Michael Bisping will take on the USA’s Alan Belcher in the co-main event of the Newark, New Jersey show.
ESPN.com first broke the news, and GRACIEMAG.com confirmed it.
Bisping (23w, 5l) most recently was knocked out by Vitor Belfort in the second round of their São Paulo encounter in the octagon. Should the Englishman win this fight, he will face Anderson Silva, acording to Dana White.
Now, Belcher (18w, 7l) was riding a four-fight win streak in the UFC before losing to Yushin Okami at UFC 155 in December of last year. Alan doesn’t tend to leave his fights for the judges, having only two decisions on his 18-win record.
